Referral Scheme Terms & Conditions
Support Worth Sharing is operated by Langham Virtual Assistant and is designed to thank people who introduce a new client to the business.
1. Eligibility
The scheme is open to current clients, past clients, professional contacts and other people who make a genuine introduction to Langham Virtual Assistant.
The referred person or organisation must be a new prospective client and must not:
* already be a current Langham Virtual Assistant client;
* have previously been a Langham Virtual Assistant client;
* already be in active discussions with Langham Virtual Assistant about support; or
* have contacted Langham Virtual Assistant before the referral was made.
The referral must be made before the referred client signs up for support.
2. Eligible Services
To qualify for the scheme, the referred client must sign up to one of Langham Virtual Assistant’s ongoing monthly support arrangements:
* Essential Support
* Momentum Support
* Operational Partner
* Any bespoke monthly retainer package agreed by Langham Virtual Assistant
PAYG support, one-off projects and other ad-hoc services are not eligible for the referral scheme.
3. Referral Reward
Once a qualifying referral has completed and paid for their first full month of support, both the referrer and the new client may choose one thank-you gift:
* 6 months Pirkx membership; or
* a £25 Marks & Spencer gift card.
One referrer reward and one new-client reward are available for each qualifying referral.
There is no limit to the number of eligible referrals a person may make.
4. When Rewards Are Issued
A referral becomes eligible for a reward once the new client has:
* joined an eligible monthly support arrangement;
* completed their first full month of support; and
* paid the invoice relating to that first full month.
Langham Virtual Assistant will contact the referrer and new client to confirm their preferred reward.
The reward will normally be issued within **14 days of eligibility being confirmed**.
5. Reward Conditions
Rewards:
* cannot be exchanged for cash;
* cannot be transferred to another referral;
* cannot be used as credit against Langham Virtual Assistant invoices; and
* cannot be combined with another promotional offer unless agreed in writing.
If one of the advertised reward options becomes unavailable, Langham Virtual Assistant may provide an alternative of broadly equivalent value.
6. How a Referral Is Made
The referrer should make the prospective client aware of Langham Virtual Assistant and the introduction before the referred client signs up for support.
A referral may be made by:
* introducing Langham Virtual Assistant and the prospective client directly by email or message;
* recommending Langham Virtual Assistant and asking the prospective client to make contact;
* sharing the Support Worth Sharing landing page or Langham Virtual Assistant contact details; or
* another clear form of introduction or recommendation.
Where the prospective client contacts Langham Virtual Assistant themselves, they should identify the person who referred them.
The referrer does not need to complete a separate referral form.
7. Suitable Referrals
Participation in the scheme does not guarantee that Langham Virtual Assistant will accept the referred business as a client.
Langham Virtual Assistant reserves the right to decline work where the requirements, capacity, timescale, working relationship or nature of the work are not considered a suitable fit.
No reward becomes payable where a referral does not become an eligible paying monthly client.
8. Duplicate Referrals
Where more than one person introduces the same prospective client, the referral will normally be attributed to the first qualifying introduction received by Langham Virtual Assistant.
Only one referrer reward will be issued for each new client.
9. Retrospective Referrals
The scheme cannot normally be applied retrospectively.
Existing clients, previous clients and enquiries already in progress cannot subsequently be nominated as referrals.
10. Changes to the Scheme
Langham Virtual Assistant reserves the right to amend, pause or withdraw Support Worth Sharing at any time.
Any referral already confirmed as eligible before the scheme is changed or withdrawn will continue to be honoured under the terms that applied when the referral was received.
11. Anti-bribery and transparency
Support Worth Sharing is intended as a modest thank-you for trusted introductions. Referral rewards must not be used to improperly influence any business decision, procurement process or professional judgement.
Referrers are responsible for ensuring they are permitted to accept a thank-you gift under their employer’s, organisation’s or professional body’s policies.
Where a referrer is unable to accept a gift, Langham Virtual Assistant may offer an equivalent charity donation or agree that no reward will be issued.
Referral rewards are not offered in exchange for confidential information, preferential treatment, improper influence, or a decision to appoint Langham Virtual Assistant.
Langham Virtual Assistant may decline, withhold or withdraw a referral reward where there is a potential conflict of interest, breach of policy, or concern that the reward could be perceived as improper.
